Finally! Candy Pangilinan can now sleep soundly at night after her painful ordeal has finally come to an end.  Weeks ago Candy Pangilinan was declared as a persona non grata by the government of Baguio after she made a joke stating “tao po ako hindi ako Igorot” which demeans the Igorot community.

Her joke wasn’t taken lightly and the Igorot community got offended because the joke only meant that Candy Pangilinan does not think that the Igorots are also human beings but rather of a lower kind.  Candy denies this and kept on apologizing while crying on TV with the mess that she had caused.

It took a lot of guts for her to go back to Baguio even though she was already blacklisted there. She talked to the council and finally she breathes a sigh of relief when she was forgiven for her remarks about the Igorots.

Candy Pangilinan is now very happy that this ordeal is over. Now her shows and movies can be shown in Baguio and she is welcome to come over any time she wants.  The igorots are very forgiving and Candy Pangilinan learns a big lesson out of this.  You really have to be careful with your words as a joke can be very offensive and a comedian should still watch out for whatever that comes out of their mouths.
