Every Metro Manila Film Festival, we brace to enjoy a movie about a typical Chinese Family with Mano Po movies. With lots of A-listers taking part in Mano Po from Mano Po 1 to Mano Po 5, Mother Lily is now eyeing Sharon Cuneta for Mano Po 6 to play the title role.

Sharon Cuneta had confirmed that this would be her first ever movie under Regal Films. Sharon’s last movie was BFF (Best Friends Forever) starring together with Ai-Ai Delas Alas.

A Filipino won as Best Director at Cannes Film Festival. Brillante Mendoza won the award for his movie “Kinatay” which means massacre in English.  It’s a very gorey movie where a cop hacked a prostitute with a kitchen knife. It may remind you of a chop-chop lady but this is even worse because the victim is still alive when she was being sliced to pieces. Dark, huh?

John Lloyd and Luis had kissed at the Brooklyn Bridge for their new movie! The shot was finally taken last week and the scene was very intimate.

A reporter said the scene was very realistic and they really feel their characters which only mean that both John Lloyd and Luis are very professional actors because, obviously, both of these guys are straight. No question about it.
