First Gentleman denies that he’s wanted in the U.S.

The First Gentleman Mike Arroyo has denied the allegations from the opposition that he is actually wanted in the United States for money laundering. During an interview, The First Gentleman had denied the accusations that he avoided to go to the United States because he feared that he may get arrested for money laundering.

He said during an interview that he’d been to the United States many times already and that the report is just a malicious allegation to ruin his reputation and that of the President’s.

He also added that he can’t have a money laundering case in the United States when he doesn’t even have a U.S. bank account, property or stocks based in the U.S. and that there’s no truth to what they said that he is under investigation by the FBI.

He countered the accusation and said that in fact it is the former President Estrada and the opposition senator Panfilo Lacson who can’t step foot in the United States because of cases of espionage.

The First Gentleman joined with the President on her trip to the United States to meet with President Barrack Obama.  The FG had also announced to the reporters in Washington that his wife, the President of the Philippines, had clearly stated that she will be stepping down from office in 2010 and there is no truth to the accusation that she wants to remain in office.

Rumors abound about the President’s SONA saying that she did not clearly state that she will be stepping down from the Presidency by 2010. First Gentleman reacted about this allegation saying that she clearly said that her term ends in 2010 and he does not understand how that is not clear at all.
