Harry Potter Returns On-screen with the Half-blood Prince

The movie, promptly entitled Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, centers around Harry’s search for the enigmatic persona. Along with his most trusted friends, Ron Weasely and Hermione Granger, Harry is beset with a whole new slew of danger, fun and adventures. As part of the teenage drama, all three of the main protagonists each dabble on teenage love, academic concerns and familial blues. These they tackle on while getting ready for the impending rise of evil villain Lord Voldemort.

A new character enters their school, Hogwarts, as Professor Horace Slughorn makes his presence felt. Staple characters also reprise their on-screen existence as Draco Malfoy, Harry’s bitter rival, peaks Harry’s interest because of his sneaky nature. Lavender Brown and Ginny Weasely, similarly capture attention as the respective love interests of Ron Weasely and Harry Potter.

Based on the exceptionally successful book by J.K Rowling, Harry Potter is again set to conquer the imagination and hearts of people from all ages. The sixth Harry Potter movie has the makings of a box-office hit, true to the footsteps of the previous Harry Potter installments. It has remained faithful to the original story in the book, tweaking only those major plot lines. Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince was set to be released in 2008 but was pulled out to enhance the film’s production and visual effects.

The original cast, who catapulted into stardom from the first Harry Potter movie, will also comprise their respective roles. The magic trio will be headed by Daniel Radcliffe as lead, Emma Watson as the headstrong Hermione Granger and Rupert Grint as the Ron Weasely. Steve Kloves adapted the movie in the big screen while the movie was under the helm of renowned director David Yates.
