Freddy Roach had predicted that Manny would knock down Ricky Hatton in less than 3 rounds and De La Hoya in 9, now Roach sees a bit of a challenge with Cotto that he doesn’t think Manny could knock him down as quickly as he did with Hatton.

Roach thinks that Cotto pose a threat that could be a huge problem for Manny Pacquiao. First of all, Miguel Cotto is a big and strong guy where Manny is smaller. Roach wants Cotto to go down to the lowest weight possible to make it even for Pacquiao.  He believes Cotto is a much stronger guy than Hatton and he’s a better fighter.

Mosley wants to challenge Pacquiao to fight against him as he thinks he is the better fighter for Pacquiao. Cotto is not going to pose as a challenge for Pacquiao, he said, but the last June fight by Cotto only proves that he does not go down without a fight. He put up a good game which made PacMan very interested with him. Mosley thinks it is Bob Arum who is on the way for a Pacquiao and Mosley fight but nothing’s settled yet so we still have to wait and see who PacMan will fight next. Cotto still need to have his wound on his eyebrow heal in time in order for him to qualify for the fight. If not, Manny Pacquiao still need another opponent.
