Michael Jackson had died Thursday from what is believed to be a cardiac arrest but none is official yet until the result of his autopsy would be known. His death had shocked the world and his fans who were excited for his comeback concert are now grieving for such a big loss in the music industry. Their idol is now gone but his music remains.

Michael Jackson had left us with lots of hits such as Thriller and Beat it. His life had been very controversial and he became one of the most popular singers of all time but had lived a lonely life. He married Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley but they didn’t live together and later had a divorce. He got charged for child molestation and his image had been tarnished and a tag of “child molester” never left his name. The once brilliant singer had suddenly left the scene and when he was about to give his final tour, he was gone.

Michael Jackson went from a black young man to a white and freakish looking individual but fans never cease to love him despite the drastic change in appearance. After all, what counts is his music and what he had contributed to the world with such songs that brings joy and meaning to our life with its wonderful lyrics such as “Gone too soon” which he dedicated to his friend who had died at a young age from AIDS.

Michael Jackson may now be gone but his legacy will remain and he is now being compared to Elvis Presley who is also a singing icon and had died at a young age as well.
