Over 1,500 inmates performed today in Cebu provincial jail to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. The inmates had gained international stardom for their video on YouTube where they all danced to the beat of “Thriller” which is a popular song from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

A lot had signed in at the provincial jail to watch the inmates perform once again their popular morning exercise routine that gained thousands of hits on YouTube as their tribute to Michael Jackson who unfortunately had an untimely death that was said to be caused by cardiac arrest.

Michael Jackson had died Thursday from what is believed to be a cardiac arrest but none is official yet until the result of his autopsy would be known. His death had shocked the world and his fans who were excited for his comeback concert are now grieving for such a big loss in the music industry. Their idol is now gone but his music remains.

Yesterday, Francisco Duque III, the Health Secretary had confirmed that there is now a low-level community outbreak of the H1N1 virus in Metro Manila with most affected areas include Quezon City, Manila and Paranaque City.  An additional 28 infected individuals adds to a total of 473 cases as of yesterday for the country’s total infected of the H1N1 virus.

The first death involving the A(H1N1) virus had been confirmed in the Philippines and is the first death in Asia. It’s a 49 year old woman who had died from her congestive heart failure but was also tested to be positive with the pandemic virus.

The heart disease of the patient was only aggravated by severe pneumonia and had only shown signs of the virus 2 days before she died on June 19.
