Pacquiao now has his eyes on Miguel Cotto after being impressed with the great support from his fans in yesterday’s fight in the welterweight division. He gave his promoter, Bob Arum, the signal that he wants to have his next fight arranged with Miguel Cotto as his next opponent.

Manny Pacquiao watched the fight on the ringside beside Bob Arum while Cotto fought hard even with a very deep wound on his left eyebrow. He won over split decision at the Madison Square Garden.

The target date for the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto is cited on November 14, 2009. If ever, Cotto would already have enough time to recuperate to fight again with a much better opponent.
