Today, the entire country is in mourning as the first female President of our country had succumbed to her colon cancer. She was 76 years old.

yellow ribbonWe all know that former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino is battling with stage 4 colon cancer and the family is now prepared that she will eventually succumbed and go back to our Lord Creator. They just want her to not be in pain as it’s heartbreaking for them to see their beloved mother in pain and not eating.

Such a sad news to hear about our most admired former President Cory Aquino who showed love and compassion that made her stand out from all other Presidents. She was the first woman President who ousted the dictator Marcos through People Power. Now, at an old age, she is suffering and we all need to pray harder that God would heal her once more.

Corazon AquinoYesterday, Kris Aquino announced on The Buzz that her mother, the former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino will be under the knife today for her colon cancer operation. She even reiterated that her mom had exceeded the “taning” (life expectancy) as given by the doctor when they found out that she already had a serious stage of colon cancer last year.
