Cory as good role model and possible saint

Several bishops in the Philippines are pushing for the sainthood of Mrs. Corazon “Cory” Aquino as they believe that if Cory would become saint, it would deeply encourage the Filipinos to follow her example and start to be good. Anyone can be a saint said Archbishop Precioso Cantillas. He said that the president, Cory Aquino, had lived a “saintly life” and she is definitely qualified to be a saint. Other bishops and several other groups are also supporting the said proposal to push for her sainthood.Archbishop Ramon Arguelles said that she is definitely a saint as she is definitely a saint although the sainthood is a process that takes a long time.

Willie went on an indefinite leave

Willie already apologized for what he said about the airing side by side of Wowowee with the cortege of Corazon Aquino although he still stands with what he said. He now went on an indefinite leave because of this controversy where Filipinos still continue to share their shock and dismay with the noontime show host through online petitions and through twitter, facebook and text messages.

Indefinite leave may mean 2 days or 3 days off from work which means that Wowowee won’t have Willie to host it because he was asked to go on leave starting August 10.
