Gloria Macapagal Arroyo hits back on her critics during her 9^th and last State of the Nation Address or SONA and she defended her way of governance as she promise to continue fighting for the benefit of all the Filipino people as well as to keep our economy afloat up to her last day in office on June of 2010.

Yesterday the president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had her 9^th state of the nation address and it’s on the same day that the INC or the Iglesia ni Cristo had celebrated their 95^th year anniversary. The effect? Heavy traffic.

Tomorrow is declared a no-school day in Metro Manila due to the State of the Nation Address of our President Arroyo and also because tomorrow is going to be the grand anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo.

The Commission on Higher Education had decided to cancel classes on all levels tomorrow as it is expected that there would be heavy traffic caused by the Iglesia ni Cristo celebration of their 95^th year which means that it is to be expected that many Iglesia ni Cristo members from different provinces would be coming to Manila to celebrate this day.

After Manny Pacquio’s amazing victory against Ricky Hatton, he went back to the Philippines despite the warning to stay in the U.S because of the swine flu scare and when he arrived, he was welcomed with much celebration and a trip to the Palace.

As what people say, when Manny Pacquiao fights, the crime rate in the Philippines is almost zero and it’s fair enough that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo named him as our Ambassador for Peace & Understanding. No one can beat Manny Pacquiao in reuniting the Filipinos and keeping our country very peaceful even for a short period of time.
