We expects Shane Mosley to go for broke and slug it out with defending WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao in their scheduled 12-round title bout. The Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight is scheduled on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mosley’s a good counter-puncher. He’ll use his left as a decoy. What he wants to do is to land the right. I don’t think he’ll box Pacquiao because he doesn’t have the legs to fight from a distance. He’ll come on strong in the first four rounds, looking to knock out Manny. Roach said Pacquiao should be able to assume total control after the fourth round.

At last the Pacquiao vs Mayweather mega fight that nobody wanted to see for now is finally dead due to some blood feud, it’s time to get down to some real boxing action. Well, the fighters have changed but the game remains the same. The next opponent of Pacquiao is Marquez. This two best fighter will battle it out on November 12 the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 bout. I thought at the first place it was Paulie Malignaggi whose going to fight by Manny Pacquiao. I don't like it either, I don't like the big and loud mouth malignaggi is the next opponent of Pacquiao because it was a total mismatch.

Shane Sugar Mosley had given up his quest to fight Manny Pacquiao for his next fight. Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions said that Shane Mosley told him to stop his negotiations for a Manny Pacquiao fight.

Freddy Roach had predicted that Manny would knock down Ricky Hatton in less than 3 rounds and De La Hoya in 9, now Roach sees a bit of a challenge with Cotto that he doesn’t think Manny could knock him down as quickly as he did with Hatton.

Roach thinks that Cotto pose a threat that could be a huge problem for Manny Pacquiao. First of all, Miguel Cotto is a big and strong guy where Manny is smaller. Roach wants Cotto to go down to the lowest weight possible to make it even for Pacquiao.  He believes Cotto is a much stronger guy than Hatton and he’s a better fighter.

Pacquiao now has his eyes on Miguel Cotto after being impressed with the great support from his fans in yesterday’s fight in the welterweight division. He gave his promoter, Bob Arum, the signal that he wants to have his next fight arranged with Miguel Cotto as his next opponent.

Manny Pacquiao watched the fight on the ringside beside Bob Arum while Cotto fought hard even with a very deep wound on his left eyebrow. He won over split decision at the Madison Square Garden.

After Manny Pacquio’s amazing victory against Ricky Hatton, he went back to the Philippines despite the warning to stay in the U.S because of the swine flu scare and when he arrived, he was welcomed with much celebration and a trip to the Palace.

As what people say, when Manny Pacquiao fights, the crime rate in the Philippines is almost zero and it’s fair enough that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo named him as our Ambassador for Peace & Understanding.
