A few days ago, it was reported that Lakas-Kampi-CMD frontrunner Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro, Jr, planned a mutual assail on unemployment by granting emergency jobs and provisional money transfers to unemployed Filipinos and farmers stumbling from calamities along with the most recent El Niño attack and driving good control policies to attract more investors to inspire the economy and in that way generate a large number of job opportunities.

 

Gibo for President Volunteer Center Launched

At the beginning of the official campaign period, Gibo Teodoro supporters came rushing through the scene, expressing their support for the “man in green.” People have seen the true potential of former Defense chief and are projected as the next leader of the country. Why not? He has the wits and an excellent platform of government that is truly impressive compared to the records of some candidates running for presidency.

The Filipino people has generated groups to promote the candidacy of Gibo Teodoro in the upcoming 2010 May elections. From different corners of the Philippines, Gibo has a pack of supporters to back him up until voting day comes. One of the newest group organized for Gibo was recently established in Iloilo City.

Gibo, Villar Gains Momentum

Lakas-Kampi-CMD presidential bet Gilbert Teodoro Jr. and Nacionalista Party standard-bearer Senator Manny Villar are closing in on surpassing candidate Benigno Aquino III of the Liberal Party.

This was revealed last Monday by survey group StratPOLLS, Inc. which organized its survey from January 16 to 22, 2010. Based on the returns of the survey Aquino is on leading with 36 percent, followed by Villar, 26 percent; former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada of the Puwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), 15 percent; and Teodoro, 11 percent, said Prof. Alberto S. Sureta Jr., StratPOLLS, Inc. executive director, in a press conference.
