March 2007, the sister of Rochelle Barrameda, Rubyrose was declared missing and was last seen driving from her house in Las Pinas City and was believed to be heading to her ex-husband and 2 children also in the same city.

The family of Rubyrose had tried hard to look for her but there was no news until recently when the NCRPO had an informant who already confessed to be one of the players in committing the crime and he helped out in searching for the body. It’s been 2 weeks of continuous search in Navotas and finally they found the drum wrapped with steel plate and inside was the body covered in cement.

After confirmation with the family of Rubyrose, it was indeed confirmed that the body is really hers. The family felt shattered especially with how brutal she was killed and how violently they disposed her body.  They identified her through her jewelries and clothing that she last wore the day that she was last seen.

It’s very sad and unfortunate but the primary suspects are none other than the ex-husband and the ex-husband’s family. It’s going to be another big story for the Filipinos to watch out for. It’s like one of those episodes of CSI and let’s just hope that our forensic investigators here are skilled enough to solve this very horrific crime.
